7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’” Mark 16:7

In this passage of Scripture, Peter was specifically pointed out. Peter had just denied that he even knew Jesus three times. Peter, one of Jesus' closest disciples had completely forsaken Jesus. He had turned his back on Jesus at a time when he should've been running towards his savior.

But...

Our God is a God of second chances. When we fall, He is right there to pick us back up again. Jesus knew that Peter would deny him; he even predicted it!

And Jesus knows that you're going to screw up again. He knows you're going to fall again. He knows you're going to mess up again.

But...

Our God is a God of second chances. Our consequences will always catch up with our actions. There are always consequences to our actions. Luckily for us, there is also always forgiveness for our actions.

Jesus knows that you're going to screw up again- he died for that. Jesus knows you're going to fall again- he died for that. Jesus knows you're going to mess up again- he died for that.

God used Peter to preach the sermon that saw over 3,000 people come to know Christ. God used Peter again. Although Peter screwed up, he sought after Christ for forgiveness and transformation, and God used him again.

God wants to use you again. He wants to restore you. He wants to forgive you. He wants to see your life change. Ask God to forgive you and change you today. Ask Him to use you again like he used Peter again.
